The program has been created as general software for surveillance cross platforms running simultaneously with wireless and wired IP webcams, Television-boards, capture cards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the equal appearance and functionality on the local and apart pcs. Customers see MPEG coded picture and have complete control of the program using network that surveillance pc can be operated without monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected. Software's modular structure considerably improves reliability because all components work as independent software. If one unit stops working, other components continue running. For example if the "record" module fails, "watchdog" starts again it instantly that viewers don't notice anything because they are viewing picture through a "playback" unit. The software makes "repeated" recording that the "disk full" situation never happens. The recording can be constant or it can be started by movement, human face detection, or by timetable.The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance pc as well as on remote computer via Web interface. The program does simultaneous video playback for event examination from many webcams at the same time. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
